• How do I get a quote?
  Simply fill out our quote form and we’ll contact you with your options and our terms. Your quote will incorporate essential moving equipment and labor. Please read everything carefully before deciding to book with us. If you have any questions, please contact us for assistance. Please note that rates vary according to the day of your move. Local moves are charged by the hour. Long-distance and heavy-load moves are charged at a flat rate pending approval of a prior quote.
  
• How do I book a move?
  Review and accept your quote, then reserve your move online. Please note we accept only online reservations to ensure accuracy of details; phone reservations are not accepted. Be sure to fill out and double-check all fields. We will confirm your details via email and send you a reservation confirmation and an invoice for a (refundable) deposit. Once this has been paid and your move scheduled, you can relax! Please read our cancellation policy prior to scheduling.
  
• How can I minimize the cost?
  Flexibility is the key! Try to schedule your move on an off-peak date or opt for a half-day move. Save on removal time by disassembling furniture yourself. Try moving all your possessions into the room nearest to the building’s entrance/exit. Pack minor items yourself; use inexpensive boxes and packaging bought in bulk. Take care when packing – moving insurance does not cover damage to items packed by the owner. To reduce the number of items involved in the move, consider donating to charity any unwanted items.
  
• How much will I have to pay?
  Every move is unique. While we strive to minimize costs, the number of items, building layout, staircases, walking distances, and the level of item protection mean we cannot guarantee how long your move will take. We understand this may worry you, so we aim for fast, first-class service! All local moves are charged at set hourly rates. Long-distance and heavy-load moves are charged at a flat rate.
  
• Will my items be insured?
  Studio City Movers are insured in accordance with regulations in the State of California. Please bear in mind that our complimentary insurance is strictly limited to $0.60 compensation per one pound of damaged items. We cannot be held liable for items that inevitably become scratched or damaged due to customer refusal of adequate protection. As such, we strongly advise against trying to cut costs by compromising on protection. If any of your items are not valuable or already damaged, you may request – at your own risk – that the lead mover does not wrap those items.
  
• Can you guarantee professional service?
  We are a trusted family-owned moving company. Our hand-picked movers are employed by us and are not temporary or day laborers. They receive extensive training and our protocols are continually evolving to ensure you receive the best service. Our movers are background checked and undergo routine alcohol and drug screening. They regularly attend workshops to improve accident prevention knowledge.
